The work

Helping people find common ground—and giving ambitious work a way forward.

I begin by listening: asking good questions, understanding what matters to people, and building the trust needed to move toward a shared direction.

Since 2019, I have helped build relationships around the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library—working across government, Native communities, nonprofits, philanthropy, and the private sector. The Library opened in Medora on July 4, 2026.

About

Minnesota ↔ North Dakota

I’m interested in the things that help people and places become more fully themselves.

I grew up on a farm in the Red River Valley, studied and worked in Fargo, and now live with my family among the old trees of Saint Paul. My sense of home stretches across North Dakota and Minnesota: city and prairie, lakes and Badlands.

My life is shaped by family, friendship, nature, and a sense that our time here is both gift and responsibility. I care about thoughtful leadership, strong communities, and leaving places better than I found them.

Away from work, I’m usually with my family, hosting friends at home, paying more attention to the weather than necessary, or headed toward a lake, trail, or park.
